Yentz Family Dentistry is pleased to be able to offer our patients the unique option of implant surgery, right here in our own office. No referrals are necessary. Dr. Jeffrey Yentz has completed an extensive implant surgery course through the London Institute and 3i Biomet.
What Is an Implant?
Implants are titanium "roots" that are meant to replace a missing natural tooth. Following surgery, a 3 - 6 month implant integration period is recommended.
Once the integration period is complete, an abutment or "collar" is screwed into the implant. A traditional impression is taken of the abutment, and a porcelain crown is fabricated to be cemented in place.
The new implant works exactly like a natural tooth, allowing you to chew and function normally.
Our office is equipped with a cone beam CT scanner and 3D x-ray machine, allowing us to offer you a CT guided surgical implant procedure. These technologies let us give you the most precise, effective implant procedure possible.
