From day one, I've always told my patients that I've attended kindergarten through dental school in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
My mother, Sally, an eighth-grade English teacher and father both attended the University of Michigan and put down roots in Ann Arbor. From early on, I knew my dad was a dentist but I had no real idea about the profession.
From a young age, I could tell that my dad really enjoyed going to work every day, loved interacting with his patients, and always had time to coach my youth sports teams.
I too attended the University of Michigan and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Biology. I then began dental school in the fall of 2004 at the University of Michigan.
It was just my luck that I met my wife and dental partner, Andrea, during our freshmen year of dental school. We joined Yentz Family Dentistry in 2008 and enjoy practicing dentistry together. We are constantly bouncing ideas and techniques off one another making us both better dentists.
Dentistry is something that I truly enjoy doing. I love meeting new people, utilizing new materials and techniques, as well as, treating our patients with the highest standard of care.
Technology has changed the profession and it is a passion of mine to continuously stay on top of the latest advancements in the practice of dentistry.
I have personally advanced my dental skills by taking an intensive 3i implant course, and I am now certified to place conventional dental implants.
Even though my life seems to revolve around teeth, I have many other interests. At the moment, Madison, our Maltese, is the light of our lives. We love her endlessly!
I am a passionate Wolverine fan however, I have been known to cheer for a Badger from time to time. I also enjoy golfing, playing pickup hoops, running 1/2 marathons, and fishing.
